Do I need to be a film or digital photographer to
attend?

Not at all! This retreat is open to both digital and film photographers, as well as
videographers. We welcome creatives of all backgrounds, and our on-site
educators will be available to support both photography and videography
throughout the experience.

How will the styled shoots be structured?

Our editorial shoots will be meticulously designed, featuring breathtaking floral
installations and professional bride & groom models. As this is an intimate retreat,
you will have the opportunity to work closely with our educators, who will
provide hands-on guidance, technical insights, and artistic direction. Whether
you're looking for composition tips, posing guidance, or storytelling techniques,
our expert teams will be there to elevate your craft.

Can I submit the images for publication?

Yes! We have a three-month exclusivity period during which the retreat hosts and
educators may submit images for publication. After this period, you are free to
submit your work to any blog or magazine of your choice.

Is this retreat suitable for beginner photographers?

While this retreat is best suited for photographers and videographers who have
experience shooting weddings or editorials, we welcome passionate creatives at any
level. The hands-on approach from our educators will allow you to refine your skills,
whether you're new to styled shoots or looking to enhance your editorial portfolio.

Will there be opportunities for networking?

Absolutely! Beyond the educational sessions, this retreat is designed to foster genuine
connections among like-minded creatives. From group dinners to relaxed fireside
conversations, you’ll have plenty of time to build relationships with fellow attendees,
educators, and industry professionals.

What gear should I bring?

We recommend bringing your preferred camera gear, including:

• Your primary camera body and lenses. - Memory cards and extra batteries.
• A laptop or external drive (optional but useful for reviewing images).
• Film and processing materials (if shooting film).

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be sharing a room?

Yes, accommodation is based on double occupancy. Room types are limited and
assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you prefer a private room, please
reach out directly to inquire about availability and pricing.

Can I bring a plus one?

Yes! We love when attendees bring a partner or friend to share in this
unforgettable experience. Plus ones can join at a reduced rate, which covers
accommodations and meals. However, they will not participate in the editorial
shoots or educational sessions. If you'd like to extend your trip and explore the
region further, we’re happy to provide recommendations ( at an additional cost).

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to the intimate nature of this retreat and the advanced planning required, all
payments are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, your spot
may be transferred to another photographer with prior approval. Travel insurance
is highly recommended to cover any unexpected circumstances.

What is included in the all-inclusive package?

• Your experience includes:
• ✅ Luxury accommodations & meals:
• One night at Domaine des Barrenques (lunch, dinner, networking, and informal
  educational sessions).
• Two nights at a château near Bordeaux, including a full editorial shoot, dinner,
  networking, and educational sessions.
• Two nights at a villa near Chateau de la Curonne, including a second editorial shoot.
• ✅ Seamless transport during the retreat:
• Transfer from Marseille Airport to Domaine des Barrenques.
• Flight from Marseille to Bordeaux.
• Transfers within Bordeaux and between venues.
• 🚫 What’s not included?
• Your international flight to Marseille and return flight from Bordeaux.
• Initial transfer from Marseille to Domaine des Barrenques (we can assist with
  arrangements at an additional cost).
• Any transport needs on April 13th after the retreat concludes.

Spots are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A deposit is required
to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due by 1st March and final
